Thankyou Guys, for celebrating my birthday!

It was a good weekend, a reunion of our gang. We have been so busy and didnt have much time to gather around.

We celebrated my birthday at Bravo Italiano in I-Avenue. The food was great, but a lil expensive though.

The birthday cake. There was banana in the cake, yum..Oh my god! How come there are so many candles on the cake?

My gang. The restaurant was kind of dark.

Yay, I finally got my Buffalo Ministation Hard Disk :)

I have been surveying on external 2.5" hard disk. I was attracted by Buffalo Ministation Hard Disk by its Turbo USB function and its anti-shock casing.

I bought it at RM258 (for 320G) at Penang PC fair. I know it is not any cheaper than KL's price. But, I just cant wait!

The package:

Unboxed:

I am loving the wrap-around USB cable :)

It has manufacturing date at the back, 2009.3.31.

Review - Secret Seawhite Marine Cleansing Milk

It claims that it can remove makeups. I use this as my BB cream remover, however I feel that it is not "strong" enough for cleaning. To use, massage the milk on dry face, then rinse off with water. I need to add-in more pumps of milk when I massage my face with the milk. The cream gets dry very fast, so you need to keep on re-adding the milk.

I do not recommend using this on heavy makeups. For normal cleansing, yes. The milk is quite scented, I would prefer a non-scented cleansing milk.

Review - Skin Food Fermented Pomegranate Whitening Sleeping Mask

Got this sleeping mask from my sister, Jessie. She said that this product gave her breakouts.

I have been using this mask on and off for almost 3 months now. I dont see a significant skin lightening effect. This is the first sleeping mask that I used. Sleeping masks have been a hit lately. Some sleeping that I wish to try are Laneige and Beauty Credit.

I applied the mask after toner, before I go to sleep. This product smells perfumey. After applying, it absorbs into my skin very quickly. It is not sticky. It doesnt say in the label that we need to wash the mask off. However, when I wash my face the next morning, I can feel that something sticky coming out.

Overall, I feel this is a so-s0 product. It is rather dry for me. I looking for something richer.

Review - The Face Shop Greentea Blackhead Remover Gommage Pack + Lemasque Hazalie Yubiki Nose Mud

Blackhead is a common skin problem that we all have. Blackheads make my nose itchy and sometimes the skin near my nose itches too. I think my blackheads come from my frequent rubbing on my nose, I have sinus, every morning I will have runny nose, and will nose will get runny when I am in the air-cond room or when the air is not good.

So, it was weekend, and my nose was itchy again. So, I decided to do a nose treatment. The products that I used were The Face Shop Greentea Blackhead Remover Gommage Pack (RM36.90, bought it during the Face Shop's Sale, normal price is RM45.90) and Lemasque Hazalie Yubiki Nose Mud (bought it at RM36 from Magicboo).
First, I washed my face. Then, apply a layer of the Greentea Gommage Pack. The cream smells flowery. Left the cream on for 1 to 2 mins, then use fingers to rub the cream off. After rubbing cream, I can still see blackheads cleary. Oh my nose looks disgusting, dont zoom-in! My blackheads are too stubborn. However, my nose seemed smoother.

Then, I applied the Nose Mud. This nose mud is very black and it smells like UHU glue :) I made sure I apply a thick layer. I believe that by applying it thickly, it can hold up more blackheads. I waited about 15 minutes until the mud was dried up. Then I teared the mask off. No pain. Too my dissapointed, I only saw one piece of blackhead! I was expecting to see pieces of blackheads sticking up like those shown in advertisements. Again, my nose seemed smoother.

In conclusion, I am dissapointed with both of the products.

Weekend project - Loh Han Guo and Aloe-vera drink

Both Loh Han Guo and Aloe-vera is said to have cooling properties in Chinese medicine term. I had a very hectic day yesterday, hiking at Pantai Keracut in the morning + Easter party at my colleague's apartment. We had Malay food for Easter party, so I woke up very "heaty" this morning. So, I decided to boil some Loh Han Guo drink.

The ingredients: Aloe-vera (Free from my aunt's garden) + 1 piece of Loh Han Guo (RM0.70 from Chinese Herbal Shop)

First, we need to "dissect" the aloe-vera. Use a knife to cut the skin off the aloe-vera, then cut the aloe-vera into cubes. The process of dissecting the aloe-vera is kind of disgusting, because the aloe-vera has very runny fluids, and it is slippery and hard to hold. This is how the cubed aloe-vera look like:Wash the Loh Han Guo and make sure you rub its surface, if not the drink will turn out bitterly. Squeeze the Loh Han Guo to break it, so that the inner part of Loh Han Guo can easily absorb into the drink.

Lastly, chuck the Loh Han Guo and aloe-vera into the pot, and boil it for at least 2 hours. I did not put any sugar, because the Loh Han Guo is sweet enough for me :)

The product, yum ~ :)

Review - Magicboo One Minute Treatment

Got these Magicboo trial packets as free gifts from Magicboo Penang. The Magicboo shop is located at Krsytal Point, Bayan Lepas. The shop sells a wide range of product, from face, body, hair to beauty appliances such as facial steamer, spa bath tub, etc. I bought a blackhead mask which I will be reviewing later.

This Magicboo One minute Treatment is a hair conditioner. This hair treatment received a lot of good reviews from the online users. The users love this product.

It says "offered by Opal" at the back of the packet, I guess they got the lisence from the famous Opal in Hong Kong.

On the back of the packet says:
To use: After shampoo apply Magicboo One Minute Hot Oil Treatment evenly on hair. Gently massage and leave on for one minute. Rinse thoroughly. Recommended for Daily use.

I have very dry, and frizzy hair. My hair is naturally curly, which I hate it. I envy those girls who have deadly straight hair. So, every time before I wash my hair, I will have a coconut oil bath on my hair first. For this treatment conditioner, I find it not bad. It does give shine on my hair. And make my hair soft. But, I still find it not mosturise enough. I tried once without the coconut oil hair bath, it is not mosturise enough, my hair got tangled up easily. So, the key is coconut oil!

I found this product quite smelly. I dont like the smell. It smells like amonia, I dont understand why the people in the forum says the scent of this product is nice. Maybe I am weird, haha..

I might probably buy this product again, for my family to try-on. It is selling at RM18.90 for a tube in Magicboo. In the mean time, I am interested in Guardian's One Minute treatment as well. I might be buying one when my hair conditioner finishes.
