Review - Garnier Light Whiten & protect mosturizing cream SPF 15

Got this from Metrojaya Warehouse sale at PISA before CNY. This tiny tube of cream only costs RM2, which is quite cheap. I used this as my sunscreen. I like this cream a lot, although it is cheap. It has a fresh lemony smell. I use this after my Sana Milk Lotion every morning. The cream aborbs well into my skin, the mosturizing effect is good as my skin gets very dry in air-conditioned room. I might buy other product from Garnier, since it is recession now.

Review - Freeman Firming Grapefruit & Honeysuckle hand lotion

Hands can reveal the age of a woman. Therefore, we have to take care of our hands. Being working in air-cond'ed office for long hours, my hands often get dried-up and crumbled at the fingers.

I was using Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E LotionI found it too oily, so I bought this one.
The texture of the cream is something like the Hazeline cream, kind of snowy. I love this hand lotion. After applying the cream on my hands, the cream absorbed straight away into my skin. It is lightly scented with grapefruit citrus smell. I quite like the smell. My hands feel so soft now. :)

Review - Sana Namerakahonpo Milk Lotion

This is a face lotion. I got it from a friend, who helped me to buy this while she was in Singapore.

This one of the soya bean range from Sana. It claims that it has mosturizing effect and also whitening properties. Overall I find this lotion quite good, I have been using this lotion almost every morning before I have my sun screen on.

The texture of the lotion is dewy, something like emulsion. Upon applying it, the lotion doesnt aborb imediately in my face. But a minute later, it absorbed, but still leave some shine on your face. It is not matte. One thing that is good about this lotion, it is lightly scented, it doesnt smell like soya milk though.

For the whitening effect, I dont see very much, I cannot tell if I have turned fairer or not. My face is still yellowy. The down side is, this lotion is quite expensive, about RM60. I might find another similiar lotion to replace this once I finish using this.

Review - Cellnique Pro Sebum Gel

This is the 3rd bottle that I bought. I have been using this gel for about 3 years. In the beginning, this gel worked very well, my face was very smooth though I have always stayed up late during my uni days. I used to apply this religiously everyday.

But, a year ago, I found my black heads have hardened. The blackheads were like sinked under my skin. It was very hard to extract the blackheads though I could see them clearly. So, I stopped using this gel.

Now, I have large pores on my face, I think this is mainly due to my constipation problem. At the moment I am still looking for a product that suit my skin. However, I still use this sebum gel, when there is a one or two big pimples pop-out on my face. I am using it as a pimple cream now.

This gel is on promotion now at Watsons. I think they are selling it at RM97 something.

Review - The Confessions of a Shopaholic

Created from a best-seller novel. This movie is considered as a classical chick-lit. Though I am not that "chick" now, I still enjoyed the movie very well. I went to watch this movie with my female colleagues, the guys didnt want to join us, because they think that this is a "girl movie".

The main character of the movie, Rebecca Bloomwood, is a shopaholic. She always find reasons for her to buy stuffs, she makes excuses to buy things. For some moments, I find myself laughing until there is no sound coming out, haha, this a funny movie.

I particulary like the scene when Rebecca was cought up with so much debt, and she got humiliated in front of national TV, and her dad decided to sell off the truck that he used his life savings to buy it. Rebecca said "Dont sell the truck, it so define you, dad". And her dad replied "Nothing defines me, except you and your mum" That was so touching! It is so true that we sometimes get so brand concious that we think we can only use certain brands that define us.

I used to like branded stuffs a lot. But since I started working, I realised that earning money is not easy, and coincidently, recession happens! It is not a good time to do a lot of spendings, and I should start saving money now.

Review - Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E Lotion

I used this lotion as my hand cream. Bought this at RM10.90 at Watsons. The smell of the lotion is nice. Once, I was asked by my colleauge whether I am using L'ocittance product after applying this lotion. However, I found this product quite oily. After applying, I can see the 'oil' on my hands, as it doesnt absorb well. But it is quite mosturising. So, I have to wait a while for it to dry-up, so that I can continue on typing on my keyboard in my office.
